HORSE RIDING

Horse riding is an activity for all ages. You don’t need prior experience, but if you have it we can organise a longer guided tour, where you can use your knowledge and skills to your full advantage.

Small children are welcome too – we’re aware what a special experience horse riding is for them. They’ll spend their first riding lessons at the manège under the supervision of trained staff. Small children will ride their first laps on ponies, while older children can ride adult horses. You don’t need any special equipment for horse riding, although we advise you to wear comfortable clothes and sports shoes. Other equipment, such as helmets and gaiters, is provided by us.

Older children, who may already have some experience, can join a beginners’ trip. Before each trip, you’ll perform a few laps in the manège to demonstrate your skills. Afterwards, we set off in group, descending from the ranch towards Most na Soči, then return. You’ll also help prepare your horse for riding, which is a special part of the experience. After the trip, you can also help clean the barn and feed your horse.

For those with more experience and riding knowledge, we offer a longer trip, which will allow you to discover the Soča Valley in a very special way. The trail will take you along the river and pass through hamlets higher up in the valley. On return, you’ll also stop at the beautiful spot where the Tolminka and Soča rivers flow together. A special part of this trip is crossing the river on horseback.

Our horse riding trips take place in all seasons, although we advise that you chose clear and slightly warmer days. This activity is not recommended for persons weighing more than 95 kilograms or for pregnant women. Persons who are under the influence of alcohol or other psychoactive substances are not allowed to participate. Advance booking is required.
