White water rafting on Soca River
Rafting down the Soca River has for many years now been an adventure that thrills groups big and small, old and young, girls and boys, mums and dads and grannies and grandpas.
Boka - Trnovo
Riding the section between Boka and Trnovo takes you through the most attractive part of the Soca River and lasts about an hour and a half to two hours. The trip takes you approximately 12 km downriver. You will get to marvel at unspoilt nature along the unique Soča, at the mountains lining it, and much more. The rafting trip is suitable for all swimmers over 15 years of age. During the trip we will lay on a variety of fun and games that will enhance your rafting experience.

You need no experience to enjoy a Maya rafting trip - you just need to be in excellent spirits and have a big fat smile on your face. |

Family rafting: Kamno-Tolmin
Because we are aware that even the very young enjoy new challenges and adventures, we have devised a programme for families with children aged four to ten.
On a section of river between Kamno and Tolmin, we offer children an exciting new experience. Parents can watch proudly as their fearless little buccaneers tackle the smaller rapids of the Soča.
|
We will also spice up the trip with plenty of games such as beavers, water slides and pirates. You can choose between a morning excursion beginning at 9.00 am and an afternoon excursion beginning at 2.30 pm. |

Rafting for Primary Schools
Every year more and more teachers and head teachers decide to treat their pupils to this unforgettable one-day excursion.
Take your bus to Tolmin. There you will be met by guides, who will distribute all the necessary equipment and show a video demonstrating what the pupils will do on their rafting trip. When all the equipment has been distributed (neoprene suits, life jackets, helmets, neoprene shoes and windcheaters), we all get back on your bus and set off for the village of Kamno. The journey takes ten minutes. Here pupils and teachers get changed into the gear provided, while the dry clothes you have with you will stay on the bus, which will be waiting for you at the Volče Bridge, where the 9 km raft ride ends. Once everyone has changed, we will divide the group into smaller groups of six to ten. The guides will then introduce pupils to the basic paddle strokes they will use during the trip. The raft ride will be spiced up with a variety of fun and games such as beavers, water slides, pirates and a quiz. During the trip we will also stop at a calm section offering safe bathing in the river Soča. The trip lasts approximately two hours.
|
Photographs at the end of the trip guarantee that your pupils will have happy memories of their excursion along the valley of the Soča. If you wish, we can also provide lunch after the rafting trip and a free guided tour of the Tolmin gorges. You can opt between a morning excursion beginning at 9.00 or an afternoon excursion beginning at 14.00. |
