Hydrospeed is available in all weathers from 20 april to 30 september, depending on the water level of the Soča.
You can choose between a morning excursion beginning at 9.00 am and an afternoon excursion beginning at 2.30 pm.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:
- massive dose of courage
- clients under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances are not permitted on excursions
- this activity is not suitable for pregnant women, those with heart conditions and non-swimmers
- clients with specific health concerns (previous injuries, asthma, psychophysical difficulties and similar) should consult with a guide before the activity

Hydrospeed (river bob): Otona - Kobarid 
ONLY FOR THE BRAVE!!
Hydrospeed, or river bob, is the most extreme activity offered by MAYA. We recommend it for all who are addicted to high-adrenaline sports. Armed with a hydrospeed and flippers, you get to descend the most treacherous section of the river Soča. Guides will accompany you in kayaks and make sure that you are safe. We will spice up your trip downstream with wave-surfing; everything else should remain a surprise.
We will drive you from the MAYA Centre to the starting-point, where you get changed into the gear that you need to come safely down the river. There is a 15-minute walk from the car park down a steep path to the entry point. Here the guides explain, demonstrate and teach you everything you need to know for a safe trip. You don't need any experience for hydrospeed - just a double dose of courage.
At the agency our guides and drivers will distribute all the necessary equipment (two-piece 5-mm neoprene suit, helmet, flippers, life jacket and neoprene shoes), and we will be sure to immortalise your exploits in photographs. There may well be other pleasant surprises.
