Maya staff take every effort to preserve this wonderful and unique environment for the generations to come. Let us make sure that our children and all who come after them can play on these meadows and in the midst of nature as we are still able to today. They have the right to swim in rivers, to drink from mountain streams, to breathe clean air and see the stars in the night sky. Things we take for granted today, but which tomorrow may be gone. So let’s join forces for the good of our planet! Keep it clean and green!

Our eco-ontribution:

• Annual clean-up campaign »Let's Clean Up the Soča and its Banks«, just before the start of the summer season
• On all our activities we clean up the rubbish that unthinking visitors have left behind them
• For years now we have been fighting against the excessive use of river gravel and the destruction of the riverbed and for the conservation of the unique river Soča and life in it.
• In all our activities on water or on land, we point out the problems caused by development, the desire to maximise profits or the thoughtless behaviour of individuals.
• Nursery: teaching our youngest visitors about sports and survival in harmony with nature.

We can't expect litle green Marsians to come and cleanup our planet. It is our job to do it.
